film advice...

..so I saw 'Last King of Scotland' which was good, fairly violent, one or two bits where I had to hide behind The Doctor. It told the story in a fairly linear way, without much criticism or challenge - but good. I think I know more. I saw 'Infamous', which was excellent, also fairly violent and an extended period behind The Doctor. Apparently its better than Capote - which I didn't see.

What I need now though is cinema which doesn't involve hiding. And for which I use my brain. Any suggestions?

(And please help me, or I'll go and see this. Which is most likely dreadful....)
