complicateder and complicateder... we're frustrated with Microsoft, aren't we, for being a big nasty company and trying to be In Charge of everything, of taking over all sorts of things and making products which apparently can be a tad buggy....

....but on the other hand he's publicly said some very sensible things about HIV prevention in the developing world. That abstinence simply isn't an option, particularly for some women, and he is putting his money where his mouth is. I know this is a relatively small contribution to AIDS prevention, and I may well have readers who are or have been doing more. But it seems that it is a key figure in the US speaking out against Bush's policy on this, and there's a tiny part of me which hopes its the start of a new trend.
