Modern social nightmares....

..sometimes I think there are cringy situations which are new to this spangly scary 21st century. Bumping into the very nice couple who *didn't* put in a high enough offer on our house, but who nonetheless feel bad for not selling our house to - TWICE - when Christmas shopping did not put that much of a spring in my step. I guess I have nothing to be worried about - we had an asking price offer so accepted that - but is it a new social nightmare?

Or am I huge wimp?
