Scurrilous sci-fi...

... I rarely read scifi books - ostensibly because I find it hard to relate to the characters and story. I started Golden Witchbreed this morning on the urging of my friend Wise H.

And I actually quite like this one. But I think I've worked out what frustrates me about them - the fact that I don't always know which words are English words I don't know, and which are made up. Working it out isn't that straightforward and I get narked when things interrupt the flow of the book.

But so far so good with Golden Witchbreed. It has a glossary, list of characters and a map. So while I'm not a convert - I think that this could be a good book....
