Equal before the law?

....I'm in the middle of writing what is shaping up to being the worst essay EVER and one of my distractions was thinking of writing a blog entry about my concerns about a single equality commission and lo! David Ruebain did it for me. What a lovely man.

I am NOT a natural academic. Although all this reading does mean that I was able to use the phrase 'according to a paper I read recently' at work the other day. And mean it.
