Risotto results....

....so I drag my exhausted posterior home from work - wishing I could sleep like a normal person, and am less than impressed by the contents of the fridge - half a butternut squash, some purple sprouting brocolli, and a rather small amount of feta. Oh and nine carrots - I'm not sure why.

And yet - half an hour later the resulting risotto is pretty darn nice. I roasted the butternut and stirred it in at the last minute - with the feta and put in a vast amount of dried sage while I was cooking. Not an open bottle of wine in sight - but a couple of teaspoons of white wine vinegar really seemed to make all the difference....

I'm a bit full now though...
