Truly scary...

...stuff in this article. I know Tom Shakespeare slightly, and don't always agree with everything he says (although believe him to be a Good Bloke)

I am mostly scared by the sentiments expressed in the article by Virginia Woolf and Winston Churchill. These are educated people referring to sectors of society as disposable. Its easy to dismiss lack of care regarding those with disabilities as being a result of poor education - and scary to think that for educated people the dismissal of sectors of society is related to hate. I do realise Woolf and Churchill openly experienced depression - but really that's not enough of an excuse.
