She makes an excellent point that the issue - which is in this case Victorian childrens fiction which suggests that disability is all in the mind/the result of being naughty/something that goes away if you can only get up that damn mountain is not necessarily 'bad' nor should it be banned, more that it should be viewed in the context of the time - and the context of now where such ideas should be seen as outdated, even if they aren't just yet.
